Job Description

We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to design and implement a compelling and functional website for our clients. They are responsible for both backend and frontend development, including WordPress theme and plugin implementation, site integration and security updates.

To be successful as a WordPress developer, you need a deep knowledge of front-end programming languages, a good eye for aesthetics, and strong content management skills. Ultimately, top-notch WordPress developers can create compelling, user-friendly websites that fully meet the client’s design and functional specifications.

WordPress Developer Responsibilities:

  • Designing and building the website frontend.
  • Creating the website architecture.
  • Designing and managing the website backend including database and server integration.
  • Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Conducting website performance tests.
  • Troubleshooting content issues.
  • Implementation of WordPress training courses with customers.
  • Live website performance monitoring.

WordPress Developer Requirements:

  • Solid work experience as a WordPress developer.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
  • Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
  • Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
  • Ability to manage projects.
  • Good communication skills.
